LOS ANGELES — The 2018 Urban X Awards Presented by Hankey Toys has set two pre-parties Friday and Saturday, ahead of Sunday’s 10th-anniversary ceremony.
The “Black Lingerie Party/Intimate Seductions Fashion Show” is set for Friday in Downtown Los Angeles with red carpet arrivals at 9 p.m. and the fashion show at 11 p.m.
“The Day Party Presented by VR Novels” is scheduled for Saturday in the Sherwood Forest residential neighbood in Northridge. A shuttle pick-up is available to chauffeur guests from 3-6 p.m. The event ends at 9 p.m.
Both events are 21-and-over, identification required, and open to the public.
Discounted tickets for both events may be purchased at the Urban X Awards website. Promo codes include “dptalent” for the “Day Party,” “talentuxa” for the awards show or “uxaweekendgt” for all three weekend events.

The awards will be held Sunday at the Globe Theatre in downtown Los Angeles. Ricky Johnson, Richelle Ryan and Cindy Starfall will share hosting duties.
The red carpet takes place from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and the awards program will start at 7 p.m.
The winner’s circle hosts will be TS Foxxy and Ana Foxx; the red carpet hosts are Sara Jay and Farrah Foxx; and the live social media hosts will be September Reign, Della Dane and Dior Love.
