MONTREAL — Sweetheart Video and director Ricky Greenwood have released the official trailer for lesbian drama “Talk Derby to Me” ahead of its release next month.
“Talk Derby to Me,” which explores the close and sometimes explosive relationships and competitive nature of a women’s roller derby team, features many of adult entertainment’s leading ladies.
The all-star cast features Joanna Angel, Stoya, Katrina Jade, Elsa Jean, Gia Paige, Sovereign Syre, Arabelle Raphael and Carmen Caliente.
For the XBIZ Award-nominated Greenwood, the movie marks his third feature in adult cinema. His first two movies, “Confession of a Sinful Nun” and “Becoming Elsa,” received critical acclaim and record sales.
Greeenwood, who also wrote the “Talk Derby to Me” script, said he was excited for the upcoming debut of the moive and noted that reaction to the trailer has been “very positive.”
“The acting, skating and overall retro feel will have you wanting more—or that’s my hope,” he said.
Angel said the movie looks “fucking incredible.”
“I absolutely could not have done it better myself,” Angel said. “I watched the trailer and I was practically in tears. I love the 1980s vibe, I love the overall look and feel of everything and all the range of emotions in the film is really incredible. This is definitely something special here and I am incredibly grateful to have been part of it.”
Stoya agreed about the good-looking trailer, adding that it “bodes well for the full project.”
“Of course, I expect nothing less from Ricky, the cast and crew,” she said.
