Los Angeles Erotica Film Fest Tickets Now Available

LOS ANGELES — Tickets for the Los Angeles Erotica Film Fest are now on sale, and a portion of each ticket sold will benefit the b.a.b.e. foundation, a charity that promotes awareness of breast cancer. The Fest runs Sept. 15-16 at the Knitting Factory in Hollywood, Calif. A

At the Los Angeles Erotica Film Fest, XFANZ and presenting sponsor Pulpo Inc. will screen old school classics and cutting-edge movies. Studios, independent filmmakers and amateur directors are invited to submit their erotic visions to the festival. Deadline for submissions is Aug. 15.

Opening night also will feature an XFANZ exclusive party. Individual tickets are available for each day of the festival and opening night gala. For the best value, a limited number of full access passes are available.

“We like to support the community,” XFANZ Managing Director Alan Hawkins said. “And b.a.b.e. is a wonderful charity. When I told my mom — a breast cancer survivor herself — that a portion of the Film Fest proceeds were going toward breast cancer research she said, 'Alan, that makes perfect sense. People who make adult content should care about women and help them.' This event is going to be great and I look forward to seeing a sold-out show supporting a great cause.”

Tickets can be purchased online at the Los Angeles Erotica Film Fest website and KnittingFactory.com, or in-person at the Knitting Factory at 7021 Hollywood Blvd. in Hollywood, Calif.

The Los Angeles Erotica Film Fest will present short and featrure-length erotic films from fans around the world as well as from within the adult industry. The support of presenting sponsor Pulpo Inc., BurningAngel Entertainment, Vivid Alt and Silver Lake Film Festival will aid in the process and provide a forum to reach the innovative filmmakers of erotica. For more information on the Los Angeles Erotica Film Fest and to submit short films, log on to EroticaFilmFest.com.

Festival and event sponsorships are still available; those interested can contact Kristen Kaye at kristen@xbiz.com for details.
