LOS ANGELES — Ricky Johnson is celebrating a NightMoves Awards nomination for Best Male Performer to join with an Urban X Awards citation in the same category.
A blue ribbon panel decides the NightMoves Editor’s Award; otherwise, winners are determined by fan voting.
The ceremony is scheduled for Oct. 7 at Tampa Gold Club. Click here to view all of the nominees and to cast a vote.
Johnson said he was “honored” by the recognition and thanked NightMoves for including him. “I’m in good company with some other really amazing guys,” he said.

In related news, Johnson will join Cindy Starfall and Richelle Ryan to host the 2018 Urban X Awards Sunday, Aug. 19 at the Globe Theater in Downtown Los Angeles. This is the 10th anniversary of the diverse award show.
