DIMOCO Acquires Smarcom to Expand Into Vending Vertical

VIENNA — DIMOCO has announced its acquisition of Smarcom AG and expansion into the consumer vending vertical.

According to the company, by acquiring 75 percent of the equity stake of Bern, Switzerland-based vending specialist Smarcom AG, DIMOCO is expanding its European market reach.

DIMOCO will connect vending machines using its direct-carrier billing payment method.

Swiss market leader Smarcom AG, which already enables Swiss consumers to purchase vending machine goods such as snacks and soft drinks with their mobile devices, will be renamed to DIMOCO Vending AG.
