CineKink to Spotlight 2019 Film Festival at Sex Expo NY

NEW YORK — CineKink will be returning to Sex Expo NY this year and showcasing its erotic, sex-positive 2019 film festival, set for next March in New York City.

Sex Expo, presented by premier cam network Chaturbate, will be held the weekend of Sept. 22-23 at the Brooklyn Expo Center. The two-day event will feature showcases from top pleasure product manufacturers and sex-ed workshops hosted by a wide range of educators and sexual wellness experts.

“We’re thrilled to be taking part in Sex Expo again,” said Lisa Vandever, director and co-founder of CineKink. “The last show was really great for us. We loved the location and energy of the venue — so vibrant — and we were able to connect with a fresh, new crowd. It was exciting to discover like-minded folks looking to embrace and explore their sexuality, and they seemed equally excited to discover the kinky film festival.”

Vandever added, “We’ll be promoting the CineKink NYC 2019 festival, scheduled for next March, and signing up folks to attend. As part of that, we’ll give attendees a taste of what to expect at CineKink by showcasing festival highlights at our booth — and we’ll present a screening of CineKink award-winning shorts as scheduled entertainment during the Expo.”

Vandever described CineKink as “an organization dedicated to the recognition and encouragement of sex-positive and kink-friendly depictions in film and television.”

“Currently in its 15th season, CineKink is an annual film festival and national screening tour that celebrates and explores the wide diversity of sexuality,” Vandever said.  “Works showcased by the festival range from documentary to drama, spicy to explicit — and everything in between.”

The Brooklyn Expo Center is located at 72 Noble St. in Brooklyn’s Greenpoint area and is within walking distance of the MTA’s Greenpoint Ave. subway station, which is served by the G Train.
