LOS ANGELES — Nascent production label Hard Art has inked with Pulse Distribution to release eight feature titles.
“Never in my wildest dreams did I think Pulse would be willing to take a chance on a small studio trying to make a name for itself,” Hard Art COO Jeff Sharp said.
“I figured you’d need a track record just to land a sit-down with those guys.”
He was “prepared to hurl my massive sales pitch” during an initial meeting but found it wasn’t necessary.
“I love high-end storyline features,” Pulse’s Hyland C. said. “The Hard Art idea stood out to me in the sea of gonzo DVDs in this market.”
Sharp quips, “We shake hands and as I was leaving his office, I’m thinking, ‘That went well.’”
Hard Art recently released "PokerFace" from director Sally Forth.
The title stars Alex More in the lead role, as well as Nikki Snow, Abby Rain, Audrey Noir, Violet Voss, Kat Monroe, Dino Bravo, Maestro Claudio, John Strong, Eric John and Chad Diamond.
