LEXINGTON, Ky. — This Friday, Wendy Williams and fellow trans friends will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the monthly Tgirl and Admirers Party.
Performers from all over the U.S. such as Morgan Bailey, Raven Roxx, Kimber Haven, Brooke Zannell, Destiny Williams, Ryley, Victoria Jennings, Britney Love and Kataleya to name a few will dance hourly and party.
According to a representative, for a decade Williams has provided a safe non-judgmental zone for individuals who may have never met a Trans person or admirers to mingle and be entertained. The event is held at Bluegrass Connections in Lexington, Ky.
"BlueGrass Connections is a couples’ club so I knew the owner and patrons should have a open mind when I approached them ten years ago about having my event monthly," Williams said. "During this time, the only parties that catered to TG women and admires were in NYC hosted by Allanah Starr. I had attended a few of her parties and figured it would be a great idea. I can't tell you how many people, both men and women, who have thanked me for opening their mind about trans people and showing we are more than a fetish or Jerry Springer episode."
