LOS ANGELES — Adam & Eve’s “The Cursed XXX,” which releases on Tuesday, tells the story of a pretty young ingénue who looks for work at a Hollywood cam house, later discovering that there’s a paranormal presence in the house after a half-naked girl is found dead in the pool.
Adult star Riley Reid shares the spotlight with an unlikely co-star — 1am Doll USA.
“We wanted Riley to fly through the air and crash land onto the hardwood floor, but we decided her agent might get upset if she ended up in the hospital so we used a stunt doll supplied by 1am Doll USA,” said Will Ryder, who directed the feature.
The doll, which bears a strong resemblance to Reid, was a stunt double for the adult star, taking bumps and proverbial bruises in scenes where it’s thrown to the floor and tossed about in the erotic thriller.
“The Cursed XXX” also stars, Kat Dior, Sarah Vandella, Misty Stone, Holly Hendrix, Nia Nacci, Victoria June, Chloe Scott, Veronica Valentine, Ziggy Star, Lucky Starr, Brad Armstrong, Mike Mancini, Seth Gamble, Chad White, James Bartholet and Connor Kennedy.
In the movie, strange incidents begin to occur at the cam house as the beautiful-but-scared cam girls become obsessed with hardcore sex. But when demonic spirits and ghostly activity invade the mansion, even the LAPD is baffled at finding the killer in a sexy whodunit mystery, according to Ryder.
“Riley Reid is fucking creepy in this movie,” Ryder said. “She gives a performance nobody will expect as the ominous villain. You gotta see her performance plus she is wild in bed. I absolutely love her from way back when she played Sandy in my movie ‘Grease XXX.’”
“Having a couple of my go-to girls, Kat Dior, and Sarah Vandella play supporting actress roles gives this movie a real dramatic bite,” he said. “I love those girls. One girl that I always look forward to working with is Misty Stone because she understands exactly what I need at all times and she's damn good.
