LOS ANGELES — Stoney Curtis and AdultEmpireCash have launched Whorecraft VR, a new immersive adult parody experience.
The Whorecraft site, which went through 16 months of development and was unleashed today, allows users to meld a high-definition fantasy adventure with innovative virtual reality technology.
The joint effort by AdultEmpireCash and Stoney Curtis is a product of new approaches to shooting and encoding content.
“I wanted to do a site in virtual reality that no one has ever attempted before,” said Curtis, primarily known for his prolific gonzo studio Lethal Hardcore. “We pushed the envelope further by creating a super high-end fantasy site with detailed, expensive costumes and top female talent, all green-screened into a fantasy world complete with dragons, orcs and more special effects.”
Site visitors can choose from a range of fantasy VR parody campaigns, styled after popular real-time strategy video games, all featuring explicit hardcore action starring top performers. New scenes will be added each week.
Current adventures spotlight Abella Danger, Karlee Grey, Romi Rain and more, with Victoria June, Tana Lea, Bridgette B. and Naomi Woods slated to appear in upcoming scenes.
Each star’s character is based on a fantasy archetype, including elves, sorcerers and more, Curtis said. Elaborately rendered computer-generated worlds help complete the effect.
“When Stoney approached us for this site, we knew we had a challenge,” said Daniel Chura, AdultEmpireCash’s director of affiliates.
“The costumes and graphics are amazing and improving with every update. Our design team of Bobbi Conrad and Jeff Boarts had a big challenge, and they stepped up to make a visually amazing experience for Whorecraft VR users across all platforms.
“This content appeals across a broad spectrum of users, so we wanted to make sure we made the site accessible to everyone, not just those with VR goggles. Providing an HD-only option was a no-brainer. The site was built on our new ‘hybrid’ system, which allows individual scene purchases as well as memberships. As an added bonus, users can buy ‘enhancements’ or sex toys to make their experience even more real.”
Curtis said the technological innovations of Whorecraft set it apart from mostly anything adult entertainment has seen before.
“In an industry first, we used green-screen technology to incorporate 4K footage of sex scenes, shot in a 3D 180 view, into a 360-degree artistic fantasy world,” Curtis said. “It’s perfect for the cross section of gamers and early adopters of VR goggles who are craving this kind of detail-rich, immersive porn environment.”
While Whorecraft is optimized for VR, it is also fully compatible with conventional two-dimensional HD viewing.
