Topco's Climax Bursts Anal Lube Wins Award from 'Sex is Fun' Podcast

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Topco Sales' Climax Bursts line, which debuted earlier this year, has been recognized by the "Sex is Fun" podcast, which gave the line's anal lubricant the 2007 Best of the Best Sex Product award.

"Sex is Fun" host Kidder told XBIZ that he receives boxes of lubes, dildos and toys to test out, and Topco's Climax Bursts Anal Lubricant stood out from all other lubes he's tried.

"It worked so well, and I didn't need too much of it," Kidder said, adding that he used only as much as he would have for vaginal use — not nearly as much as he'd expect to need for anal play.

Kidder said he only chooses to review and award products that were made with safety in mind, and the fact that the Climax Bursts lube is glycerin free and stays in the area where it's applied — reducing the risk of irritation and bacterial infections — made it a shoo-in for the Best of the Best award.

Kidder said the water-based lube's vitamin E beads, which he said seemed to burst just at the right time for added benefit, likely helped prevent skin irritation during both toy play and sex with his partner.

Desiree Duffy, Topco Sales' Director of Marketing, told XBIZ that the Climax Bursts line has been well received since its launch, and that customers have raved about the vitamin E beads and the no-mess application that the bottle's pop-top provides.

"The 'Sex if Fun' podcast is really cutting edge," Duffy said, "and we're very honored to be recognized. When you listen to the show, you'll notice that Kidder and the gang are fun, they're informative and it's something people listen to in the adult industry, and the mainstream world should listen, too."
