XBIZ Retreat Announces Berlin Edition Set for Sept. 9-12

BERLIN — Renowned for providing a refined B2B experience, the all-inclusive, invite-only XBIZ Retreat for adult retail leaders is heading to Berlin on Sept. 9-12 for its first-ever event for the European market.

Being held at the Titanic Gendarmenmarkt Berlin hotel, the XBIZ Berlin Retreat will maintain its original objective of providing retail buyers and vendors an intimate, luxurious setting to engage in business and networking.

The Gendarmenmarkt is a historic area known for its beautiful square that features a concert hall and two large cathedrals, providing the perfect backdrop for tourist photos. The Gendarmenmarkt square is considered one of the most visited places in Berlin. The area also is popular for upscale shopping at the nearby Galerias Lafayettes.

XBIZ Berlin Retreat participants will have the opportunity to explore nearby attractions during evening dinners and outings that are hosted daily. The all-inclusive nature of the XBIZ Retreat allows participants to develop valuable business relationships while enjoying the local cultures of its host city.

Attendees also will be guests at the upcoming first-ever XBIZ Europa Awards. Similar to the benchmark XBIZ Awards show, the XBIZ Europa Awards will recognize outstanding achievements across the full breadth of the adult industry, encompassing Web & Technology, Movies & Production and Retail.

Created in 2012, the XBIZ Retreat hosts two annual bicoastal events in Los Angeles and Miami that have each grown exponentially, drawing more than 100 participants at a time from around the globe.

“The XBIZ Retreat has grown to be an event that’s vital for business for newcomers and established brands alike,” XBIZ Associate Publisher Sara Ramirez said. “As an already international event, we’re excited to expand our focus on the European market with the XBIZ Berlin Retreat.”

While previous XBIZ Retreats have drawn a mix of international vendors, retailers and distributors, the Berlin edition of the event will focus specifically on introducing European buyers to the global vendors that the XBIZ Retreat draws.

“Thank you to all of the vendors and buyers that have supported the growth of the XBIZ Retreat during the last half-decade,” Ramirez said. “We look forward to continuing to support the adult retail industry’s global expansion with an event specially tailored for the European marketplace.”

XBIZ Retreat will host its next event at the end of the month in Miami on May 29 through June 2. For more information, contact theretreat@xbiz.com.
