NEW YORK — Cartilage Films is celebrating its upcoming national theatrical rollout of Bruce LaBruce's “The Misandrists.”
Following a world premiere at Berlinale and international screenings, “The Misandrists” will have a weeklong run in New York City at the Village East Cinema starting May 25. Then the mainstream queer title will be shown in Los Angeles at the Nuart Theater from June 1.
Both opening screenings will have introductions from Bruce and the release will continue during Pride Month throughout Washington, Austin, New Orleans, Seattle, Denver, Philadelphia and other cities.
