Flynt was in Washington for a fundraiser for the Larry King Cardiac Foundation.
The ad, which ran last week in the Washington Post, offered up to $1 million for "documented evidence of illicit sexual or intimate relations with a Congressperson, Senator or other prominent officeholder."
Flynt has made similar offers in 1976 and 1998, and is said to be responsible for the 1998 resignation of would-be Speaker of the House Robert Livingston, R-La., who admitted having extramarital affairs after word got out that Flynt was investigating him.
Flynt was unavailable for comment at press time.
