Joanna Angel Joins Los Angeles Erotica Film Festival As Official Spokesperson

LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles Erotica Film Festival now has a voice. Joanna Angel, the "punk rock princess of porno," has joined the festival as the official spokesperson.

In addition, Angel's production company, Burning Angel has joined the festival as a media sponsor.

The festival is set for Sept. 15-16 at the Knitting Factory in Hollywood, Calif.

"Joanna Angel is the embodiment of what the Los Angles Erotica Film Fest stands for," XFANZ Managing Director Alan Hawkins said. "Her provocative, artistic and original vision on adult entertainment makes her the ideal voice for our film fest. Joanna was featured in our short to promote the film fest. Now we have the pleasure of her continued participation to further promote the film fest."

Angel said she's pleased to play such an instrumental role.

As spokesperson, Angel told XBIZ she hopes to keep the atmosphere as fun as possible.

"A lot of times with film festivals, you get this really pretentious atmosphere," she said. "Hopefully with me as spokesperson we can avoid that and keep it fun and not a pissing match."
