Brittaney Starr to Shoot Music Video in Las Vegas for Her First Single

LAS VEGAS — Adult star Brittaney Starr is inviting everyone to her first music video shoot. The star of Platinum Blue Productions' "Airgazmic - The Capture" will film the music video for her new, self-produced single "I Wanna (F*** The DJ)" in Las Vegas at the Empire Ballroom late at night on Thursday.

Starr produced the track through her label, Sex Kitten Music and acquired distribution through INgrooves Digital Media, which will handle brick-and-mortar as well as online distribution for the track.

D'Amato said that INgrooves will distribute the track on more than 150 different online sources, including iTunes and Napster. Brick-and-mortar distribution will include major chains like Fry's Electronics and Target, along with most adult bookstores.

Starr told XBIZ that she's been writing songs since she was 3 years old and taking road trips with her grandmother.

"We would take these drives to L.A.," she said. "And I'd make up songs about the flowers and trees and people in the cars we'd pass, and my grandmother would turn to me and say, 'You know, you're going to be a singer.'"

For her video shoot, Starr has extended an invitation to an array of adult and mainstream stars. It will start with a red carpet entrance at 1 a.m.

"It's not just a video shoot — it's also an event," Sex Kitten Music co-owner Damon D'Amato told XBIZ.

The schedule for the evening has the video shoot starting at 2 a.m., with a special guest DJ set to take the stage at 3:30 a.m.

D'Amato said that Starr and her crew will shoot two versions of the song: one with profanity and one without. The PG version will be called "I Wanna (Funk The DJ)."

Ed Hardy, Trax NYC, and Pure Pussy Energy drink are the primary sponsors for the evening.

Brittaney Starr's music video shoot is set for Thursday night at the Empire Ballroom, located at 3765 Las Vegas Blvd. The event is open to the public, but everyone who attends must wear black.. For more information, visit MySpace.com/BrittaneyStarrMusic.
