'Sluts & Scholars' Interviews Jimanekia Eborn on 'Sex After Trauma'

LOS ANGELES — In today’s episode of “Sluts & Scholars,” co-hosts Nicoletta Heidegger and Simone interview sex coach and trauma specialist Jimanekia Eborn on sex after trauma.

The episode covers how to thrive and find pleasure after sexual assault. As part of Sexual Assault Awareness month, “Sluts & Scholars” wanted to encourage an open dialogue about issues like trauma, consent, coping and healing skills.

“Jimanekia is a wealth of knowledge about trauma and sexual assault,” Heidegger said. “We have opened the [public] conversation and shed light on sexual assault, but now what? This episode continues the dialogue and covers how to go from surviving to thriving so you can reclaim your sexual power.”
