Pornhub Sexual Wellness Center Relaunches, Offers $25,000 Grant

NEW YORK — Pornhub today relaunched its Pornhub Sexual Wellness Center website that promises a better user experience.

The Pornhub Sexual Wellness Center also announced today that it will offer a $25,000 grant to go toward human sexuality research.

With the relaunch, the Pornhub Sexual Wellness Center looks to continue to act as a free online resource aiming to provide readers with information and advice regarding sexuality, sexual health and relationships, according to Alexandra Klein, Pornhub’s brand manager, said.

Redesigned to improve user experience, the site will feature an easier search function for people to better find the content they’re looking for, and a more prominent tag cloud so that users can easily browse by topic.

“We value education and thought there was no better way to give back to academia than by encouraging research and the means to carry out an extensive project,” Klein said.

Since launching in early 2017, the Pornhub Sexual Wellness Center has become home to hundreds of articles authored by dozens of doctors, counselors and community leaders, all specializing in different aspects of sexual health. It offers a holistic approach to informing users on becoming healthier, happier and more responsible when it comes to sex.

Under the direction of Dr. Laurie Betito, a renowned clinical psychologist specializing in sex therapy, the site will continue to touch on everything from the biological to the social components of sexual life.

“We are so excited about this newly revamped version of the Pornhub Sexual Wellness Center,” Betito said. “We look forward to continuing to be a resource, offering a full range of information on sexually transmitted infections and birth control, general anatomy, trans health, LBGTQ issues, relationship advice and insight into different kinds of lifestyles. And that’s just the beginning.”

The Pornhub Sexual Wellness Center will continue to act as an inclusive space aimed at delivering expert advice and the latest information on topics like online dating, safe sex, and exploring one’s sexuality, Klein said.

Additional contributors to the site include Dr. Kat Van Kirk and Dr. Zhana Vranglova, both experts in human sexuality, along with trans community leader Sophia Banks, obstetrician-gynecologist Dr. Shandhini Raidoo and Janelle Marie Pierce, the executive director and founder of TheSTDProject.com.

With the $25,000 grant, Pornhub hopes to help advance important work in the field, be it technological, medical, or sociologically rooted – so long as its end goal is to bring new information into the world that can help people lead happier and healthier sex lives, Klein said.

With the goal of supporting crucial academic work, the Pornhub Grant for Sexual Wellness Research will be awarded to faculty members to support research work carried out by university students under their direction.

Applicants will be required to provide information about the project such as its objective and research method employed, as well as a description of the proposed study. Applications are due by May 1 and can be found at this form.

Those with questions, as well as doctors, specialists or researchers who would like to get involved, can contact Dr. Laurie at drlaurie@pornhub.com.
