PornHub Awards Show to Debut in September

LOS ANGELES — PornHub revealed today it will be honoring champions of adult entertainment at the inaugural PornHub Awards Show to take place in September.

Using data from the hundreds of billions of views the site receives over the course of a year, the 2018 PornHub Awards Show will reveal who and what adults really watched, liked, said and did.

The year's hottest porn stars, studios, scenes and trends, as determined by PornHub's fans, will be revealed at an invite-only event that to be held in Los Angeles on Sept. 6.

"Never before has our community’s unique tastes and preferences been reflected and celebrated in anything of this magnitude," said Corey Price, PornHub’s vice president.

PornHub offers more than 5 million videos on its site that reaches about 85 million visitors a day.

“We have tabulated hundreds of billions of data points to know what was not only watched, but enjoyed, re-watched, shared, discussed and ultimately, provided the most entertainment to our audience.

“From that, we invite our community to share in choosing the very best of the best, and we will be recognizing those true winners with an amazing night."

The 2018 PornHub Awards Show will be live streamed in a 3D 360-degree virtual reality broadcast provided by HoloFilm Productions, a leading producer of filmed VR content.

Users also will be able to socially get involved with the awards program as an avatar and interact with millions of other avatars via a social VR experience provided by Utherverse Digital Inc.

The show will be promoted, featured and broadcast on the PornHub.com homepage as well as on several partner and sponsor company websites, with hundreds of millions of unique daily viewers.

The excitement is expected to build with six weeks of prominent homepage promotion featuring the PornHub Games, sponsored by Chaturbate, in which top porn stars and cam girls will compete head-to-head in sexy adult competitions.

A number of contests will match up fans' favorites to see who can win the gold and earn their place as an award presenter at the main event.

The PornHub Awards Show and all episodes of the PornHub Games will be featured on PornHub.com for at least one year following the live broadcast.

Selective sponsorships for the awards show are available. For sponsorship inquiries, contact Anna Lee at anna@utherverse.com
