Exsens Announces New Water-Based Lubricants

PARIS — Privately held French intimate cosmetics company Exsens announced a new line of FDA-approved, water-based personal lubricants.

“The global water-based personal lubricant market is poised to grow at a rate of 7% per year through 2020,” a rep said. “Exsens introduced its new line of water-based lubricants in response to growing demand and made sure to create a formula that would exceed consumer expectations.”

The vegan and paraben- and phenoxyethanol-free lubricants will be available in raspberry, aloe vera and pure aqua.

Rebecca Pinette-Dorin, Exsens’ North American brand manager, said, “Lube is the new black! Women today know that lubricant can enhance the sexual experience. A product that used to be taboo to speak of or use has become quite commonplace. With growing awareness comes the need for high-quality sexual wellness products with natural ingredients that consumers can get excited about. At Exsens we are excited to help fill that need with a ‘real lube for real women.’”
