PornHub Model Payment Program Introduces Geo Blocking

BURBANK, Calif. — PornHub announced this week that the portal is offering country-by-country geo blocking for its model payment program.

“If you are a verified PornHub Model, you will now have the ability to block both your videos and profile page from showing in certain countries,” PornHub said.

PornHub said that the option to block certain countries is available on the Geo Blocking tab.

“Once you have selected which countries you want to block, click Block This Country and within eight hours your content will no longer appear for users in the selected countries,” PornHub said.

PornHub Model plans on adding the option to block state by state in the near future.

PornHub’s model payment program pays out a percentage of the ad revenue that models’ verified videos receive. The program, which also offers monthly prizes, is open to all countries and payments are made in U.S. dollars every month via check, PayPal or Paxum.

Models need a verified PornHub account, two pieces of valid government-issued identification per performer and a signed model agreement.
