WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Ela Darling, the adult star and virtual reality pioneer, is scheduled for three seminars at this week's 2018 XBIZ Show.
"I'm eager to discuss developments in sex tech with my industry peers at the XBIZ Show," Darling said. "This is one of my favorite events of the year and I'm honored to have the opportunity to continue a discussion I began with my TEDx talk in Germany for an audience of my contemporaries in the adult industry.
“This week is going to be excellent and I'm looking forward to meeting new people and chatting with old friends."
Darling will be on panels for two seminars during the event and the focus of a third.

“Join performer and entrepreneur Ela Darling, a leading innovator who helped introduce virtual reality to the adult cam space, for an exclusive presentation on ‘Not Being Afraid to Take Risks,’ a continuation of a TEDx Talk she delivered last year in Germany, during which she will encourage people to take chances and to challenge themselves,” the program said.
Darling in recent years has become a leading voice of VR porn. Having spoken about VR at events like the South by Southwest Festival and with her work covered by media outlets like The New York Times, Rolling Stone and New York Post, Darling has firmly established herself as an authority of the subject.
Darling continues her roll in her performances, as well. She earned a nomination in the 2018 XBIZ Awards category for Crossover Star of the Year.
As a representative of Cam4VR, Darling has also landed an XBIZ Exec Award nomination for Brand Ambassador of the Year.
