LOS ANGELES — TrenchcoatX has announced the release of “Trashy Love Story,” an ode to the “trash class culture” of America starring Holly Hendrix.
“This feature was actually inspired by Holly when she Tweeted at our account that she wanted to work for us and her fan base went nuts over it,” said TrenchcoatX boss Kayden Kross, who directed the feature. “So we did one day of shooting, and I loved the aesthetic so much that we turned it into a bigger storyline.”
Hendrix commented, "I've always wanted to do a project with the sort of quality that TrenchcoatX creates. I can't believe one tweet made it happen. My fans have been raving about this project and I am so proud of how it turned out."
The five-scene DVD also stars Riley Nixon, Kenzie Reeves and newcomer Evelyn Claire in her first-ever girl/girl scene.
“I had the best experience shooting my first girl/girl scene for Kayden,” Claire said. “I loved getting to work with Holly and play out the drama of stealing her from the trashy boys of the park!”
Kross added that the “Trashy Love Story” send-up was motivated by the popular stereotype of the American woman “with the big hair and the flag print on her clothes, the toned thighs in cutoff shorts, and the cigarette dangling loosely from her lips near a straw pile."
“I loved the way everyone played their characters,” Kross said. “Holly has a really natural underlying intensity and Evelyn pulled off the dry wit really well. Riley and Kenzie were wonderful.
"I could throw any line at Riley and she'd deliver it like she'd been preparing for weeks and Kenzie had the exact feel I was going for,” Kross added. “I want to thank everyone who was a part of this movie for their hard work and commitment to getting it right.”
