NORTHRIDGE, Calif. — B. Cumming Co., manufacturer of of Elbow Grease, Encounter, Fusion Personal Lubricants, H2O Personal lubricants and Black Beauty Latex Polish, is now under the management and guidance of industry veteran Nef Martinez.
The sale of the company was finalized in November, the company said.
“The company is in very good hands and the brands will continue to thrive under Nef’s guidance,” said David Mazer, the founder of B. Cumming. “I am happy for everyone involved in this transaction. As for me, I am ready to start enjoying my retirement.”
Mazer founded B. Cumming Co., Inc./Elbow Grease Brand in 1979. The Elbow Grease Brand is now known worldwide.
“I am very excited about the future the company under my direction; I have exciting projects planned for 2018,” Martinez said. “I am looking forward to all the new business possibilities, challenges and the continued success of this company. I am looking forward to meeting with our customers/partners at ANME in January and discussing new marketing and sales strategies.”
Martinez is an industry veteran who began working for B. Cumming Co. in 1990.
“With my knowledge of the industry, our brands, our partnerships with our current and future customers, I know our brands will continue to thrive,“ Martinez said. “Look out for me 2018 … here I come.”
