Girlsway, PureTaboo Score 38 XBIZ Awards Noms

MONTREAL — Gamma Films Group, home of adult production studios and content sites Girlsway and PureTaboo, have received 38 XBIZ Awards nominations for 2018.

Girlsway picked up 19 XBIZ nominations — including All-Girl Site of the Year and Studio of the Year, two nods each for All-Girl Release of the Year-Feature (“Extradition,” “Vampires”), two for All-Girl Release of the Year-Non-Feature (“A Dirty Cinderella Story,” “Fashion Model”) and one for All-Girl Series of the Year (for “Squirting Stories”).

Director Bree Mills received a nomination for Director of the Year — Body of Work and Director of the Year — Feature Release alongside Girlsway creative partner Stills by Alan. Girlsway also earned a nod for Studio of the Year.

"Wow, big thank you to XBIZ for these nominations," Mills said. "We are so appreciative to be noticed for our work, ideas and creativity in this incredible industry, alongside so many talented professionals."

Gamma Films' newly-launched “forbidden”-themed studio PureTaboo earned 15 nominations, with 13 of the nods celebrating “Half His Age: A Teenage Tragedy” starring Jill Kassidy (nominated for Best Actress — Feature Release), Kristen Scott (Best Supporting Actress), Charles Dera (Best Actor — Feature Release) and Small Hands (Best Supporting Actor).

"We knew PureTaboo was going to be special, but we had no idea it would garner this much attention, especially for ‘Half His Age,’” Mills said of the title, which also picked up nods for Feature Movie of the Year, Screenplay of the Year and Best Sex Scene — Feature Release. "Our taboo themes have struck a nerve in adult audiences, and we are so proud to bring this kind of content to life."

Girlsway's “Vampires” also scored six nominations, including Shyla Jennings' Best Actress — All Girl Release, Abigail Mac for Best Supporting Actress, Best Special Effects, Best Art Direction and Best Editing.
