MONTREAL — Girlsway has announced its third-annual Girlsway Girl of the Year contest and first-ever Fan Awards competition will run from Dec. 18 through Jan. 3.
"In addition to our Girl of the Year contest, we are opening up six new member-nominated categories to determine who’s on top for 2017," said Bree Mills, Girlsway's producer and Gamma Films' head of production.
Girlsway.com members will be able to vote for their favorite performer from this year's selected 2017 Girlsway Girls of the Month: Bree Daniels, Uma Jolie, Alexis Fawx, Angela White, Kristen Scott, AJ Applegate, Georgia Jones, Brett Rossi, April O'Neil, Penny Pax, Keisha Grey and the Girl of the Month chosen for December.
According to a rep, fans are encouraged to vote every day; each Girlsway.com member's vote will account for three points per 24-hour period for both competitions.
Girlsway will tally the scores and post them to the member forum and social media on Dec. 20, 27 and Jan. 2, and winners will be announced Jan. 12.
The six member-nominated categories in the Fan Awards competition now up for pre-nomination voting include Devoted Model of the Year (best fan interaction), New Arrival of the Year (debut Girlsway Model), Teen of the Year, MILF of the Year, Comedian of the Year and Member of the Year (most active Girlsway.com member), plus two studio-nominated surprise categories. Voting will be open until Dec. 1.
The top three models nominated for Fan Awards will vie for the prize of a sterling silver Girlsway logo necklace.
Members nominated for Fan Awards, as well as eligible new Girlsway.com members who sign up using the promo code GOTY 2017 during the contest only (for a 50 percent discount), will win a Dream Pairings Special Limited Edition DVD. A winner will be selected Jan. 12.
