Tasha Reign Discussing Consent at UCSB Tonight

SANTA BARBARA —  Tasha Reign is headed to UC Santa Barbara to discuss consent, sexual boundaries and more.

She will speak at the Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity house tonight during a special appearance at 7  p.m.

Much like her recent panels at UCLA’s and UC San Diego’s AEPi houses, the event is not open to the public, but Reign and other adult film stars are accepting bookings to speak about consent and provide sex education at higher education institutions nationwide. “I’m very excited to hit Isla Vista and UCSB’s AEPi house to discuss the importance of active consent and how to navigate personal sexual boundaries,” Reign said. “At a time when students are seeing conflicting messages about sex on social media, online sites, TV and elsewhere, it’s important to cut through the clutter bring a better understanding of being responsible and respectful.

"I am very grateful to AEPi for having me and supporting this effort to bring this discussion about consent and responsible behaviors with the opposite sex to campus."

With a rise in incidents of sexual assault, rape and sexual harassment on college campuses around the country continue to grow, Reign and others have been speaking out to raise awareness on the importance of consent and respect.

“We’re very pleased to have Tasha Reign join us and bring her insight and keen perspective about respect and consent to our members and fellow students,” the fraternity said in a statement. “We at AEPi share Tasha’s concern for students as they navigate the world interpersonal relationships in the midst of a challenging academic environment and their own efforts for personal growth.”
