Funding Campaign Launched for Bondage Photo Book

SAN FRANCISCO — A Kickstarter campaign was launched today for “Light/Shadow/Color,” a fine art photo book that will feature the photography and shibari rope bondage of the artist known as The Dark Arts.

The 300-page hardcover book will feature more than 100 models tied in shibari bondage and includes adult film stars like Joanna Angel, Jiz Lee, Kimberly Kane, Daisy Ducati, Nenetl Avril and Yhivi.

The 9”x12” book also will offer photos of notable alt-models like Malice McMunn, Jessa Jordan and Pure Rebel, along with amateurs who have never modeled before.

“This is a comprehensive celebration of five years of bondage work and showcases a wide spectrum of gender, ethnicity and body type,” The Dark Arts said. “Additionally, ‘Light/Shadow/Color’ bucks the trend of bondage photography being only dark and moody by incorporating lots of bright colors into the work. It’s a truly groundbreaking collection.”
