LOS ANGELES — Evil Angel has announced the first installment of its docu-porn, “I Am Katrina,” debuts Oct. 15 on EvilAngel.com, with remaining webisodes coming on the 20th, 25th and 30th of the month.
The entire movie will premiere on DVD Oct. 30. According to the studio, “I Am Katrina” is already a top seller on VOD, where it was released in time for awards consideration. The innovative “docu-porn” hybrid is the first title from the studio’s Evil Angel Films, a new imprint reserved for prestige projects. Trailers are available at EvilAngel.com.
“I Am Katrina” creator Evil Chris, also known as Evil Angel vice president of product Chris Gentile, directed the movie’s journalistic documentary segments, and four of the company’s distinctive filmmakers contributed signature hardcore scenes.
“This was an exercise in extending what porn can be,” Gentile said. “Porn girls have unique stories, and ‘I Am Katrina’ brings an interesting one to light.”

It all adds up to four hours of docu-porn reality, a cinematic look at a real person’s private and very public persona, the studio reported.

Considering its uniqueness and overall quality, we expect ‘I Am Katrina’ to be our biggest movie of the year.”
