Maia Toys Partners With National Distribution

LOS ANGELES — Maia Toys has announced southern California-based National Video/Universal Distribution as its West Coast wholesale partner.

“We took a considerable amount of time to determine our distribution channels and felt that National was our obvious choice for a West Coast distributor,” says Lisa Hanna, Maia's president of sales.

According to the company, National’s well-known, veteran sales representatives and myriad connections on both the West and East coasts have made them a staple for companies looking to expand their sales reach. Hanna says her long-standing friendship with the National team prompted Maia Toys to reach out and create a solid business plan for mutual growth.

“Maia's recent re-branding caught our eye at National with their new product displays and retailer resources. They're offering a lot of value that we can pass along to our customers,” said National sales executive Lee Negri. “I've known Lisa for years and she was able to get our team on board for all the great things Maia Toys has coming down the pipeline. We're excited to finally get the chance to work with them and are anticipating great things to come.”

National's personalized approach to customer service is a good fit for Maia, according to the company.

“The hands-on approach that National offers to their customers fits into the new direction that Maia toys is taking,” said Hanna.
