LOS ANGELES — 2017 XBIZ Trans Performer of the Year Aubrey Kate and 2017 XBIZ Sexpert of the Year Jessica Drake appear together in Drake’s highly-anticipated showcase, “Jessica Drake Is Wicked,” directed by XBIZ Award-winning director Brad Armstrong.
“There were so many people on set I felt like I was in a legit mainstream movie,” Kate said. “There was so much going on — from the people, to the set, to the wardrobe. It was very intense, but in the best possible way. Jessica was so sweet and thoughtful — she got us all little presents of different sorts and made great effort to ensure everyone was comfortable and taken care of. I’m so appreciative of this opportunity and what it means for the trans adult community. I’ve always wanted to work with Jessica and never dreamed it would be possible.”
Drake commented, “When I was first aware of Aubrey Kate, I admired her beauty and tenacity in the industry. As I watched her quickly rise to superstar status, I developed a crush on her of epic proportions, and hoped that she would agree to take part in my showcase. As we planned the scene, I didn't know what to expect, but as things played out, it quickly became clear we had chemistry, and the dynamic between the four of us was incredible. I am so grateful to Aubrey for doing the scene and not only becoming a part of Wicked's history, but also helping me make a very powerful statement in the industry.”
