April O'Neil Named Girlsway Girl of the Month

April O'Neil Named Girlsway Girl of the Month

MONTREAL — Girlsway has announced the selection of April O'Neil as its Girl of the Month (GOTM) for September 2017.

"I'm thrilled, it's such an honor,” O’Neil said. “It's really amazing to be recognized by people you adore and respect. Thank you, thank you, thank you for welcoming me to the team as an official Girl of the Month. They are so much fun! It's just like hanging out with your friends all day! I love making movies for Bree Mills and Stills by Alan … I know it's guaranteed to be a great day at work!"

O'Neil launched her Girlsway career in 2014's “Girl's Got Game.”

Director/producer Mills is a fan of O'Neil's as well, noting that "April is enthusiastic, funny, genuine and loves her job, and you can feel that amazing energy in every one of her performances. We're happy to have her represent us at Girlsway."

Girlsway will also post a special compilation video, now a standard feature for Girlsway.com Girl of the Month winners, featuring a personal interview with O'Neil — including her authentic surprised reaction as Mills reveals her GOTM selection.

“I think it's wonderful how attentive and interactive they are with their fan base,” O’Neil added. “I also like how unique their storylines can be!”

As part of her award package, which also includes high-profile appearances in Girlsway promotional ads, O'Neil recently shot an exclusive “Dream Pairings” scene, “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” (out Sept. 7) alongside her personally selected co-stars, Georgia Jones and Kristen Scott.

“My scene with Georgia Jones was a lot of fun because we got to wrestle!” O’Neil noted.

Each month, Girlsway showcases one exceptional star performer such as O'Neil to represent the Girlsway brand; at year's end Girlsway members will vote for its Girl of the Year for 2017.
