Banks’ show is syndicated nationally by Warner Bros.
The episode focuses on college students who see porn as a viable career choice. Parker was chosen for the show because she is enrolled in college full-time, while exclusively performing for Shane’s World. Also featured on the show were Jack Venice and Frat House Films co-founder Geronimo Freeze.
“I was really nervous at first but after I sat down on that couch I was happy that I was getting the opportunity to tell my story,” Parker said. “Being with Shane’s World while having the chance to finish school has been a perfect choice for me. I had a lot of fun. I am very anxious to see how it turns out after they finished editing the show.”
Banks will be airing footage from the studios’ “College Invasion” series, “College Amateur Tour” and “Casey Parker is The Girl Next Door.”
Shane’s World Vice President of Sales Megan Stokes, who accompanied Parker, Venice and Freeze, said the March 16 taping will be a boon of publicity for the studio. Shane’s World is no stranger to mainstream notoriety. The company has been featured in Rolling Stone, USA Today and Time Magazine, as well as on CNN, MTV, Fox News’ “The O’Reilly Factor” and is the only adult company to be featured in the Abercrombie & Fitch catalog.
“Going on Tyra was great promotion for Shane’s World and our brand of adult entertainment,” Stokes told XBIZ. “Shane’s World is synonymous with college porn. Casey is a real college student who loves doing porn. She showed the audience that you could be both a student and porn star, while being healthy, happy and in control of your decisions. She handled the appearance with class and grace.”
