Paradise co-owner and director Jason Green told XBIZ that he and his partner, Cecil, have shot two new films, and the first, "The Make Up," is ready for a June release. After a hiatus in the 90s, Green said the company is "back in a big way."
"We're sort of picking up where Paradise left off," Green said.
Green also said that Bobbitt, who held the rights to his film, gave Paradise exclusive rights to distribute his two films, and Green said he plans to release them together for the first time on DVD. Green said he already has rights to Paradise's original lineup of 65 titles, and that the Bobbitt titles are the first non-Paradise films the company will distribute.
To celebrate Paradise's new deals, the company is throwing a party at Polly Esther's Night Club in Las Vegas May 25, and Green said the bash will be filled with porn stars old and new.
Green said adult stars Sunny Lane, Hailey Young and Caroline Pierce will join veterans Christy Canyon, Ron Jeremy and Randy West — bringing the porn classics and the adult moderns together under one roof.
"And that's what we're doing [with our movies] at Paradise," Green said.
