Summers was last seen Feb. 29 walking to a corner bar in this small town 15 miles west of Philadelphia after completing a film shoot.
The 5’8”, 115 lb., blonde actress had traveled from her hometown of Toronto and was to travel to Detroit after the shoot, according to adult actress and friend Stacy Sinn.
Sinn told NBC reporters that it was out of character for the 22-year-old actress not to be out of contact with family or friends.
“She was a very smart girl, she always carried her cell phone and made sure that she could be in contact with people, so this is really scary,” Sinn said. “All of us girls that do modeling are always cautious. Most of us take escorts when we go out, but she didn’t a lot of the time.”
When Summers didn’t show up in Detroit, her family called police. Last Friday, police detectives showed up at an apartment in Conshohocken where her car had been found. Armed with a search warrant, authorities carried out bags and boxes of evidence, including photography lights and other equipment.
On Tuesday, the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office told XBiz.com that they have no new leads in the disappearance.
