"I was shocked that they would have a male erotic porn star on there, but it was quite an experience," Weston told XBIZ. "They contacted COLT about wanting a COLT guy, and they chose me. They said I looked more like the all-American-type guy, and I was in the Marine Corps."
Weston had about the first 10 minutes of airtime in the beginning of the episode, he said.
Weston said the episode will bring attention to COLT, and also has touched other gay military members, who emailed him with praise after the show. "[They] were so happy I was talking about being gay and in the military, and they were thanking me for being political in a nonpolitical way."
