"People are saying DVDs in retail stores are becoming a thing of the past. I don't think so. I think customers will always need instant gratification. They need to feel the product in their hands," Sirimarco said.
"I don't know how many production company owners actually go to stores and see the end user, but I think it is important to see them. See what they are buying and just say hi. Also to let the store know we are there for them. So get ready, everyone, I will be stopping in on as many places as possible. From large chains to small mom and pop stores. Everyone is important to me." Plans call for a tour of the Southwest in May, including Phoenix, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco.
