Sophia Santi, Shay Jordan Featured in Complex Magazine

NEW YORK — Digital Playground contract stars Sophia Santi and Shay Jordan are featured in a pictorial and sex toy review in this month's issue of Complex magazine, a mainstream publication founded by fashion designer Marc Ecko aimed at young, pop culture-savvy men.

Santi, who has written for the bi-monthly magazine and helms its "Reader's Mail" page, posed with Jordan in a colorful pictorial spread, testing several products from various sex toy lines, including Digital Playground's Virtual Sex line. The two stars then wrote what they liked — and what they really liked — about each toy in a brief review.

"I love Shay; I think she likes girls more than boys sometimes," Santi told XBIZ. "We always have a great time together. Because we've never worked [in porn] together, there was definitely a bit of sexual tension during the shoot."

Santi said she started to work with Complex a few months ago when the magazine contacted Digital Playground looking for an adult star to respond to reader mail. Santi, who said literature is one of her main interests and reads up to eight hours a day, was chosen as the girl.

Santi said that at first, the reader mail she responded to focused on things they saw in the magazine. Now that readers are getting to know her, she said, many of the readers' questions are directed at her.

"I love working for [Complex]," Santi said. "The exposure is great. Their readers are the exact demographic I want to reach: hot, sexy, smart and funny."

An online version of the photo spread can be seen at Complex.com.
