Television X Pay-Per-Night Launches Tonight in the U.K.

LONDON — For the first time, U.K.’s Television X is available as a pay-per-night TV service.

Television X Pay-Per-Night, which offers “no strings attached” porn for £5.99, debuts tonight.

Customers now have the freedom to purchase one night of the latest releases like “Gobblecocks” and “The Rebecca More Sex Tour” on Sky and Freeview “for little more than the price of a pint,” said Anna Kieran, programming director of Television X.

“Due to the volume of demand for the recent new releases such as ‘Hard Brexxxit,’ we took the decision to launch Television X as pay-per-night,” Kieran said. “We see this as a gateway service, which will allow viewers the opportunity to enjoy the TVX premieres as a one-off purchase.”

Television X Pay-Per-Night is an addition to the existing Televisions X flagship channel, which will still be the destination for the new and exclusive monthly premieres, Kieran said.

Television X Pay-Per-Night launches tonight at 10 p.m. (GMT) with “Hard Brexxxit” on Sky 605 and Freeview 671.
