Maleflixxx Secures Exclusive 'Stonewall & Riot' VOD Premiere

TORONTO — Gay video-on-demand provider Maleflixxx begins its exclusive premiere tomorrow of the full-length, animated adult feature, Joe Phillips’ “Stonewall & Riot.”

The series will be released in a serial format with new episodes premiering every Saturday in April.

Phillips’ company, Adult Visual Animation, started in 2000 and has produced the award-winning miniseries “CumQuest” and “House of Morecock.” Phillips’ series of gay adult comics “Joe Boy” was featured on the Showtime series “Queer As Folk.”

“We were looking for a VOD provider that would do justice to our products and not just treat us as another studio cranking out content for their site,” said AVA owner Ron McFee. “We wanted a company that focused mainly on the gay market, thus not dividing its energy on two markets or more. Maleflixxx came highly recommended by many sources and has the marketing power and a clear market presence with strong commitment to their product.”

“Stonewall & Riot” was nominated for best alternative video at the 2007 GAYVN Awards.

“We always strive to offer our customers and affiliates not only the best but also the most unique product on the market,” said Eric Johnson, president of Sureflix Digital Distribution, owner and operator of Maleflixxx. “Following the tremendous success of AVA’s ‘House of Morecock,’ we knew that this was a studio we would be thrilled to welcome to the Maleflixxx family. We look forward to this premiere as just the beginning of an exciting partnership.”
