qPeeps Celebrates 1 Year Anniversary

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Gay community site qPeeps is celebrating its first year online this month, just weeks after straight sister site xPeeps celebrated the same milestone.

qPeeps has more than 25,000 registered users. Powered by video-on-demand provider AEBN, the uncensored qPeeps acts as a free networking community for adult webmasters, surfers, content providers, directors, actors, fans and friends — specifically targeted to fans of gay adult entertainment.

“We are excited about the progress that Qpeeps is making,” said Jett Ramone, qPeeps administrator. “For the most part, our members are very dedicated, and you only have to look at the bulletins and comments left by others to see the great friendships being built here on both a personal and professional level. We are also keeping the improvements coming and are looking forward to further growth on the site.”

Users can create a profile, upload pictures, blog, start a group or sub-community, or post a calendar, so long as it is legal and consensual.

Over the past year, qPeeps has stepped up its marketing by attending several high-profile gay events like the San Francisco LGBT Pride Parade and Celebration in June.

“We want to give qPeeps our congratulations,” said Doug Knight of Hyde Park Productions. “We’re glad to see that the site has grown like it has and we wish them success for the future.”
