NEW YORK — French brand Exsens will be showcasing its massage oils, lubricants, lip gloss, cleansing foam and other products at Sex Expo New York 2017, presented by Chaturbate. The event will be held Sept. 23-24 at the Brooklyn Expo Center.
“Sex Expo in Brooklyn is going to be a blast,” said Rebecca Pinette-Dorin, Exsens’ U.S. sales manager. “Exsens is a rather new brand, and getting some face-to-face time with the people who will be using our products is very important and wonderful. Usually, we are always communicating through intermediaries: shops, social media, etc. It is going to be so much fun to hang out with the people we actually make this stuff for.”
Last month, Exsens released a point-of-sale display for its Arousal Lip Gloss, one of the products it will be featuring at Sex Expo New York 2017.
“We plan to offer a reduced selection of our products, but at an introductory price,” Pinette-Dorin said. “We want a maximum number of people to give us a try, get to know us and enjoy what they buy to the fullest.”
Pinette-Dorin added, “Our products are made in Aix-en-Provence from the finest ingredients — no parabens, organic whenever possible, all-natural whenever possible.”
In early March, organizers for the Sexual Health Expo (SHE) announced that the bicoastal, biannual event was rebranding as Sex Expo — and Sex Expo New York 2017 will be its first East Coast show since the name change.
Pinette-Dorin said, “Sex Expo is a great idea. We need to be more open as a society to sex in general, and this is a great way to get people talking, wondering and trying new things. A healthy sex life is one of the keys to a happy life. I suspect Brooklyn will feel the effects of Sex Expo for months afterwards.”
Sex Expo New York 2017 will feature showcases and product demonstrations from top manufacturers of pleasure products and sex toys. And The Pleasure Chest, serving as official sex education sponsor, will present workshops on a wide range of topics.
