Chaturbate to Feature Top Cam Models as Presenting Sponsor of Sex Expo NY

NEW YORK — Chaturbate has signed on as presenting sponsor for Sex Expo New York 2017 and will be promoting its camming platform at the event, which will be held Sept. 23-24 at the Brooklyn Expo Center.

“There is an overwhelming sense of community on Chaturbate that is not seen on most cam sites; this becomes obvious when we have a booth at an event like Sex Expo” said Shirley Lara, chief of operations for Chaturbate. “Everyone that meets our broadcasters walks away with a greater understanding of the benefits camming can bring to the average person, besides earning a very nice income.”

Lara added, “It’s our pleasure to sponsor Sex Expo 2017, as the mission of this unique convention is the same as our company’s goal: helping people find their personal road to pleasure and opening a dialogue that allows sex and sexuality to be accepted as central to a healthy, passionate, fulfilling self-image and life.”

Chaturbate will be featuring some of its most successful cam models in its booth at Sex Expo New York 2017, and they will be happy to answer any questions attendees have about the platform.

“I invite everyone to come by the Chaturbate booth to meet our broadcasters,” Lara said. “I will be bringing three of our top cam models along to share information on what Chaturbate offers to those ready to start their own cam business, or for anyone that is seeking a web space where they are empowered to form connections with real people that share their fantasies, outlook and lifestyle.”

Lara added, “The public perception of sex and sex workers is changing, as more people discover the world of webcamming. Chaturbate offers both our broadcasters and the public that uses our site a safe and supportive space to explore their own sexuality.”

In early March, organizers for the Sexual Health Expo (SHE) announced that the bicoastal, biannual event was rebranding as Sex Expo — and Sex Expo New York 2017 will be its first East Coast gathering since the name change. The Pleasure Chest, serving as official sex education sponsor, will present a variety of workshops at Sex Expo New York 2017. And the event will feature showcases from top pleasure product manufacturers.

“I’m looking forward to having the opportunity to meet and network with the many sexual freedom advocates that are appearing at Sex Expo 2017 and exploring the exhibits of new pleasure products and enhancers,” Lara said. “There is common ground between the advocacy many of these entrepreneurs and speakers share with the public and the way Chaturbate allows anyone the ability to enhance and explore their sexuality. Bringing all of these options together in a welcoming and incredibly beautiful space like the Brooklyn Expo Center is what makes Sex Expo a destination trip for so many people every year.”

Chaturbate, founded in 2011, features an affiliate program, ad traffic sales and a wide range of tools for webmasters and broadcasters.

“Chaturbate takes pride in being able to offer anyone over 18 years of age the ability to start their own cam business through the company’s software platform, providing them with the chance to make a livelihood,” Lara said. “Many of Chaturbate’s broadcasters are college students and single parents, who need an occupation with flexible hours yet one that still allows them to earn much more than they would in a minimum-wage position.”

The Brooklyn Expo Center is located at 72 Noble St., in Brooklyn, in the Greenpoint area and is within walking distance of the MTA’s Greenpoint Avenue subway station. To reach the Brooklyn Expo Center from Manhattan, take the G Train.
