ASACP's Joan Irvine Meets With Australian Adult Leaders

LOS ANGELES — Joan Irvine, executive director of the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP), has returned from promoting ASACP’s mission in Australia.

Irvine made the trip at the invitation of the Eros Association, which represents the Australian adult entertainment industry, and met with Eros CEO Fiona Patten and Australian government officials to discuss ASACP's work.

“The Eros Association has long been supportive of ASACP,” said Irvine. “This trip provided an opportunity for closer collaboration between our two groups, and we hope to continue building on that in the future.”

Patten announced that after speaking with Irvine, Eros is backing ASACP and supports the RTA website-labeling initiative.

Irvine later delivered the keynote address at AdultEx, outlining the scope of ASACP’s work to fight child pornography and keep minors off adult sites.
