Starring Tera Patrick as a mobster's wife, "InTERActive" allows the viewer to become a participant in the plotline. Teravision owner Evan Seinfeld says this DVD is a step above the others on the market.
"This is the first [interactive DVD] ever with a storyline," Seinfeld told XBIZ. "It's shot in POV, as if you are the protagonist. It makes you feel like you're figuring out how to hook up with Tera."
Seinfeld said the film is "the 'Ben Hur' of porn," and that he and director Quinn Roberts shot at least 12 or 13 days worth of footage to have enough for the DVD.
Viewers' choice-making begins after Patrick's ungrateful mob husband, played by a Robert DeNiro impersonator, leaves after demanding that she wash her car by hand. After watching her through a window, the viewer helps her fix an unruly hose and then is asked if he'd like to come inside with Tera.
Seinfeld said there are so many choices, and that the storyline branches out in all directions. That way, he said, the plot doesn't get boring, and the numerous sex positions and locations the viewer can select from keep the movie going.
In the end, Seinfeld said, justice usually serves and Patrick's husband eventually catches the viewer and Patrick in the act.
"You've been fucking Tera all over his house," Seinfeld said. "You're gonna get caught. But I'm not going to give away the ending."
