MONTREAL — All-girl studio Sweetheart Video and parent company Mile High Media announce the production of the new forbidden feature, “Confessions Of A Sinful Nun.”
The erotic Nunsploitation film is a first for Sweetheart Video’s new director Rick Greenwood, exploring the darker side of a convent and the sister’s lustful urges. The cast is lead by Nina Hartley and Charlotte Stokely with Mona Wales, Lea Lexis, Riley Nixon, Lily Adams, Penny Pax and Darcie Dolce as their sisters in sin.
Written and directed by newcomer Rick Greenwood, “Confessions Of A Sinful Nun” marks his debut in adult cinema.
“I was fortunate that Jon Blitt and Mile High Media let me create this movie,” Greenwood said. “I’m a fan of Nunsploitation, a subgenre of exploitation films, which were very popular in the ‘70s. These films typically involve nuns living in convents and have a religious and sexual nature, like religious or sexual suppression due to living in celibacy. For me it’s the perfect premise for an all-girl adult movie. So I apply the same recipe for ‘Confessions of a Sinful Nun.’ It’s my way to pay homage to Ken Russell, Jess Franco and Joe D’Amato while capturing all-girl eroticism.”
“Confession Of A Sinful Nun” follows devout Sister Charlotte (Stokely) as she lives a peaceful life with her other sisters. Everything changes when Sister Lily (Adams) arrived to the convent. Sister Charlotte is suddenly seduced by the temptation of another woman. Meanwhile, Mother Superior (Nina Hartley) will have to deal with other forbidden behavior around the convent.
“I had a wonderful cast for my first film, thanks in large part to Dana Vespoli’s assistance,” Greenwood said. “It’s the perfect mix between legendary performers and up-and-coming stars. I’m a huge fan of Nina Hartley, Charlotte Stokely and Mona Wales so having them on my set was surreal, and how I can do a nun movie without Lea Lexis. Even the Vatican downloads her!"
“Confession Of A Sinful Nun” is set for a late summer release.
