LOS ANGELES — CalExotics was awarded the Bronze Packaging Award in the Novelty category from the National Association of Container Distributors (NACD).

The Annual NACD Packaging Awards gives awards in the categories of Cosmetic and Personal Care, Drug and Pharmaceutical, Food, Nutritional, Novelty and more.

Among the 2017 Package of the Year Award winners are 3M, CVS, William Sonoma and Ann Arbor Distilling Company.

“We are thrilled to be in the same category as these major companies,” Susan Colvin, founder and CEO of CalExotics. “We strive to be the best in every area of business and receiving this award helps solidify we are doing something right. Thank you to our long-standing partners at Pacific Packaging Components for submitting our products for this award, we appreciate you.”

The award honors two of CalExotics’ best-selling products, the Universal Toy Cleaner and Premium Lube. Both items are made in the U.S. and have been on the market for more than a decade.

The Universal Toy Cleaner is designed to help prolong the life of a sex toy. The product is safe and effective on all toy materials. The Premium Lube is a high quality, water-based lubricant that is smooth and slick for maximum coverage and long-lasting results.

Jackie White, executive vice president of CalExotics, says, “These are staples in our business. Every retailer suggests a quality lubricant and sex toy cleaner when making a purchase, and many of them recommend these CalExotics products. We are thrilled to see them being recognized.”
