Extend to Discuss Women's Fertility Options at Sex Expo New York

NEW YORK — Extend Fertility will be promoting its egg freezing service at Sex Expo New York 2017, to be held Sept. 23-24 at the Brooklyn Expo Center.

“Extend Fertility offers premier egg freezing services in New York City,” said Kristen Mancinelli, Extend’s director of partnerships and education. “We believe that women interested in fertility options for the future deserve the same level of service, emotional support and physician excellence as women trying for a baby now. That’s why we’ve created a service centered around the unique, busy lives of these women and made it affordable so (that) fertility preservation can finally be a real option.”

Mancinelli added, “Above all, Extend Fertility seeks to educate women on their fertility and their fertility preservation options so they can make informed decisions that are in line with their own personal vision and life goals.”

Women interested in exploring their fertility options, Mancinelli said, are invited to stop by Extend’s booth at Sex Expo New York.

“Come to our booth if you’re curious about egg freezing and want to learn more about preserving your fertility for the future,” Mancinelli said. We’ll have lots of educational material, and two health educators will be available to answer all of your questions. There will be frank conversations about the fact that although women are most fertile in their late teens and early twenties, many of us aren’t ready to have a baby until much later — and it’s time we talked openly about the pressures women feel from the so-called biological clock.”

In early March, organizers for the bicoastal Sexual Health Expo (SHE) announced that it was rebranding as Sex Expo. The biannual event has been taking place in Los Angeles and New York City, and Sex Expo New York 2017 will be its first East Coast gathering since the rebranding.

“We exhibited last year in Brooklyn,” Mancinelli said. The event was well attended, and we had an engaging, lively day. We look forward to participating again this year.”

The Brooklyn Expo Center is located at 72 Noble St., Brooklyn, in the Greenpoint area and is within walking distance of the MTA’s Greenpoint Avenue subway station. To reach the Brooklyn Expo Center from Manhattan, take the G Train.
