Yanks.com Celebrates 9 Months of Donating to 'Call to Safety' Nonprofit

SEATTLE — Yanks.com is commemorating nine months of contributions to Portland nonprofit, Call to Safety.

The company reports that since Aug., $1 of every new membership has been donated towards the women's crisis support center for victims of sexual and domestic abuse.

"As a company that takes pride in its depictions of strong, independent women in sexual situations, we feel it's important to support — and encourage others to support — a resource service for women that's vital to the community," said Billie Miller, CEO of Yanks.com.

Miller and Yanks.com co-founder Todd Spaits also state that they are using their philanthropic platform to raise awareness and education about Call to Safety's special domestic violence awareness and prevention programs that can make a real difference in the lives of domestic and sexual abuse survivors.

"By donating to such an incredible organization, we hope to keep Call to Safety going as long as possible,” Miller added. “We urge other companies to help and support this business — and other non-profits like it — for those who need our help and support."
