Doc Johnson Signs On as Diamond Sponsor of Sex Expo NY

NEW YORK —  Doc Johnson has signed on as a diamond sponsor of Sex Expo New York 2017, to be held Sept. 23-24 at the Brooklyn Expo Center

The pioneering pleasure products company was also a diamond sponsor for Sexual Health Expo L.A., held Feb. 4-5 at the California Market Center in Downtown Los Angeles. In early March, Sexual Health Expo organizers announced that the biannual event was rebranding as Sex Expo.

“Following a successful showing at SHE L.A. earlier this year, Doc Johnson is very excited to be sponsoring and exhibiting at the 2017 Sex Expo N.Y. show in September as a diamond sponsor once again,” said Erica Braverman, PR and communications specialist for Doc Johnson.

A variety of products will be featured in Doc Johnson’s Sex Expo New York booth.

“We’ll be exhibiting some of our most buzzworthy recent releases, including our Buzz Liquid Vibrator — which garnered an overwhelmingly enthusiastic response for us at SHE LA — as well as our award-winning Tryst multi-purpose silicone massager; OptiMALE Rechargeable Vibrating C-Ring; and a selection of products from our Truskyn and American Pop collections," Braverman stated.

“In addition to some of our most popular existing products, we will also be debuting five brand new vibrators from our iVibe Select line that we think are going to be a huge hit: the iRipple, iRock, iBend, iCome and iWand," she continued. "Each of these silicone vibes has a different unique function that makes it special, like a heating feature or a shaft that moves back and forwards in a perfectly seamless ‘come hither’ motion. The new iVibe Select vibrators look and feel incredible, and we think that people are going to be really excited when they see them in person. Show-goers will be able to see why Doc Johnson received the 2017 XBIZ Pleasure Products Company of the Year Award.”

Braverman described Brooklyn as an excellent location for Sex Expo’s East Coast gathering.

“We have been exhibiting at the Sex Expo since the beginning, and have always found this to be a worthwhile event,” Braverman enthused. “But this upcoming show’s centralized placement in Brooklyn is particularly exciting, as this location tends to attract a broader, more diverse audience that spans a wide range of demographics. The close proximity to the media organizations and journalists of New York City is also a huge selling point for us.”

Braverman added, “The Sex Expo has been a great forum for introducing our products to multiple audiences at the same time: the media, social influencers and end consumers. The event’s focus on creating opportunities for us to generate content and social media activity is an added bonus. The Sex Expo team clearly has an understanding of the key challenges brands are facing today, and have designed an event that helps us meet them. In addition, (Sex Expo Media Director) Sara (Ramirez), (Events Director) Moe (Helmy) and the entire team are excellent to work with, and have gone above and beyond at every turn to make sure we get the most out of our sponsorships. Kudos to everyone at Sex Expo for creating such a well-organized event.”

The Brooklyn Expo Center is located at 72 Noble St. near the MTA’s Greenpoint Ave. subway station.
